Suggested fabrics: Woven (non-stretch) light or medium weight fabrics, such as rayon, linen, silk, or satin.

Fabric requirements: If using a directional print or pattern matching (with stripes, plaids, etc.) additional yardage may be required.

On straight grainline:

45" (114 cm) wide fabric: Mini dress, 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 yd (2 - 2.5 m) // Midi dress, 3 - 3 3/4 yd (2.7 - 3.4 m).

54" (137 cm) wide fabric: Mini dress, 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 yd (1.4 - 2.3 m) // Midi dress, 3 - 3 1/4 yd (2.7 - 3 m).

On bias:

45" (114 cm) wide fabric: Mini dress (sizes 0-8 only), 2 1/4 yd (2 m) // Midi dress, not possible.

54" (137 cm) wide fabric: Mini dress, 2 - 2 1/2 yd (1.8 - 2.3 m) // Midi dress (sizes 0-18 only), 2 3/4 - 3 yd (2.5 - 2.7 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 30 with B, C and D cups (approx. UK 6/8 – 30/32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Choose your size based on your HIGH BUST measurement first, then find the FULL BUST cup size that is closest to your FULL BUST measurement. If your full bust measurement is greater than the D cup size, it is recommended to select the next size up.

Notions: One 20" (50 cm) invisible zipper; fusible interfacing (choose appropriate interfacing based on fabric weight).
